We greatly believe in your potential of recovery. Since 1999, our group of health care professionals at BodyWork Physiotherapy and Massage Clinic has been helping you meet your goals. We employ hands-on therapy approach and greatly believe in individualized one-on-one treatments and the importance of our clients' education.

Marie-Antoinette Wassef,
PT, CAFCI

Marie-Antoinette Wassef graduated from The University Of Ottawa in 1999. Her mission was to provide the Ottawa region with a multilingual clinic that provides the highest standards of care to her clients, in a professional and ethical manner and focusing on listening to her clients and HELP THEIR BODY HEAL ITSELF.

She has been practicing physiotherapy since 1999 with over 30 post graduate education courses in multiple fields. She also taught at multiple schools of physiotherapy including U of O, Kineconcept and Everest College. She recently opened her second location (BodyWork Physiotherapy and Myofascial Release Clinic) in 2009 and focuses her career on women's health issues like incontinence and pelvic pain while practicing conventional physiotherapy and exercise therapy.

Seeba Jacob

Seeba Jacob graduated with her Bachelor in Physiotherapy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India in 2007 and earned MBA in Health Care Administration from University of Virginia, USA in 2011. She received diploma in acupuncture and yoga therapy and worked at hospitals treating outpatients and inpatients for 2 years in India.

In 2014, she completed her Physiotherapy Competency Exam in Canada and is registered with College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Seeba has taken acupuncture and dry needling courses with Meridian Health Education in Ottawa along with taping and soft-tissue injury management courses.

She has 6 years of clinical experience treating multitude of various conditions, primarily musculoskeletal injuries in private clinic settings. Seeba has a passion for helping people by treating, educating and empowering them about their own health. She takes time to identify the root cause of the person’s problem and jointly with them create a treatment plan to help them get better with treatment techniques like myofascial release, mobilization, acupuncture, taping and exercise therapy

Michael Mazzaferro

Michael has recently graduated from the two year intensive Massage Therapy program at Algonquin College in Ottawa. In 2013 he completed his provincial exams and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. At Algonquin he had the opportunity through the clinic and outreach programs to work with a wide range of people. They included athletes, developmentally delayed children and palliative/rehabilitation care clients. His methods of treatment include deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, stress and relaxation based treatments and stretching/strengthening exercises. With these various methods he can help tailor treatments to maximize the effectiveness for each client. Whether it be long term or short term goals, he believes massage therapy can help everyone.
